Growing Conditions

The 2017 growing season contrasted greatly with the dry season of 2016 with much higher than normal amounts of rainfall from May through August. September and October ended up being much warmer than normal allowing for extended ripening.

Nose

Loaded with aromas of cedar, black currants, and plums.

Palate

Youthful fruit, meet blended oak aging. Aging in a combination of new and older small oak barrels contributes to this wine's supple mouthfeel. Full-bodied and food-friendly!

Enjoy with lamb, grilled steaks & robust Italian dishes

Aged 16 months in small oak barrels of varying age.
